Q. How do I wash it off?
A. Here are some tips on how to wash off your artwork:
Face Paint
Face Paint
- The best way to remove your face paint is with soap, warm water, and a washcloth. ("no more tears" baby shampoo works great on kids so it won't sting their eyes)
- Using just the soap create a lather, then rinse and wipe with washcloth. Repeat if necessary -- no scrubbing needed!
- Do NOT use baby wipes as they are more likely to leave behind "trace stains". If trace stains do remain, apply a good quality facial lotion or baby oil, wait 30 minutes, and gently wash the area again with warm soap and water.
- The best way to remove the glitter tattoo is to simply use hand sanitiser. The alcohol will take the adhesive as well as the glitter right off the skin. Removing the glitter tattoos after a bath or shower is easiest, while the skin is still damp
Q. Who can be painted?
A. I will only paint children aged 3 and over and who are agreeing to be painted. I can paint a small design on rhe arm of children aged 2. I will not paint anyone who objects to being painted. Sometimes a young child may not understand face painting and may object, in this situation I may offer a small design on the arm or hand if the child is comfortable with this.
Anyone who, in my own opinion, appears to have a contagious skin condition or illness such as a cold, conjunctivitis, cold sores, chicken pox or any other infectious skin complaint cannot be painted. I will however, when possible, offer a suitable alternative such as a small cheek or arm design.
I reserve the right to refuse to paint anyone who is abusive, violent or intoxicated.
